To the Honourable the Commons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Parliament assembled.

The Humble petition of the people of North East Hampshire.

Sheweth that brownfield development must be more strongly prioritised by Local Planning Authorities; and Neighbourhood Plans must continue to be respected, both in the absence of Local Plans and by Local Planning Authorities when devising Local Plans.

Wherefore your petitioners pray that your honourable House implements, as soon as possible, (a) the proposed £1 billion 'brownfield regeneration fund'; (b) the requirement for Local Planning Authorities to bring forward 90% of suitable brownfield sites for housing by 2020; and (c) further support for Neighbourhood Plans, noting their value in planning appeals and the creation of Local Plans.

And your petitioners, as in duty bound, will ever pray, &c.
